Robin's girls updates and activities are too many to list, except that Robin is doing it on her website, PassKids.com, so, go see all the fun and talent that is happening. I'm very, very happy with all of them.

Here are some songs that Robin and her kids have recorded with me - lots of fun. They are so much fun that I forget my own faults for a while.

Katy and Anne Louise - I Wanna Sing                                 Ella Grace - Wee Willie Winkie                                             Robin and Anne Louise - Tennessee Waltz                    Robin - Desperado

Anne Louise was the lead character in the school wide play, 'OLIVER', she was excellent.

BULLETIN: Robin and Frank have been working on adopting a baby girl from China. The people there are legally limited on the number of children they can have and they don't value the girl babies very much. A large number of girls are abandoned and some thrown away like garbage or left somewhere to die like unwanted pets. In America, a similar disposal of unwanted babies is legal and promoted with tax dollars as long as you can't see the baby's face. It is called freedom of choice, planned parenthood, or abortion. Americans are much more civilized than the Chinese.

This little girl was left at the gate of the orphanage on Hainan Island in December 2003. Their adoption application was approved and they went to get her in the fall of 2005. I am very proud of Robin and Frank. Her name is Ella Grace. They planned and organized a concert to help raise money to pay for it all at the building where their church met. The featured music was by a Dove award winning contemporary Christian artist whose name is Clay Crosse. I heard him live at a concert several years ago and he has an incredible voice and talent. Robin's family web site is PassKids.com.

April 16, 2006       As I have gotten to know Ella Grace, I see that she lights up a room and my life is better because I know her. She doesn't speak out loud well yet but she does a lot of sign language to communicate. She is around three years old and she has been with us just over a year but there is something I have noticed about her behavior that affects me greatly - it makes me wonder. She acts toward us as if she thinks - subconsciously and deeply - that she has been rescued from a doomed life. She seems divinely humble and grateful. How can a little kid, who can't know the details of communist oppression or abandonment, act like she understands being saved from these things instinctively. I think, like all children, she is closer to God than we adults are. Children are sent to try to remind us of what we are supposed to be like.

Frank Pass, is studying to be a counselor and they have two daughters, Anne Louise (10) and Katy (5), who are my begotten grand children. Anne Louise is about the smartest 12 yr. old there is - and so - she has learned to not pay any attention to most everything I say, although she does think I'm cool. Katy has something in her eyes that says she already understands life, altogether, and she's waiting to get older so she can help the rest of us with it. Theirs is a great family of great people. I say this because Frank seems to be perfect for Robin and they are very good parents and the girls are well adjusted, fine girls who love ME.

Katy already sings blues and Anne Louise is already tired of it.
