HISTORY / COMMENTARY: Beth came back to
Montgomery from Nashville to help with a 'Grand Opening' for the new Kove. The
excellent sound system, the excellent band, the acoustically excellent room, and
Beth Nielsen-Chapman coming back from the big-time for four days to a packed
house is an excellent combination. This group of songs features Beth with us and also doing
new songs, solo, that later became hits for legendary artists like Willie Nelson
and Waylon Jennings - among others. Beth has an unbelievable career that
includes Harvest and Harmony in the '70,s and this week in 1990. We had
tremendous fun and it shows. One of the highlights is when Beth's father, Bob,
came to the stage and performed the 'Ballad of Anne Boleyne'. It is incredible.
